Judges

  • The RBSDV board members will review and score the submitted projects.
  • The winner will be announced during the Belgian Dermatology Days 2023.

The jury will score each of the projects based on the following criteria:

  • Existing or future impactful initiatives that promote the quality of dermatology patient care in Belgium.
  • Demonstrable/quantifiable benefits for patients.
  • Relevance of the project;
  • Originality and innovative character of the project;
  • Image and impact of the project;
  • Includes a project leader who is a qualified Belgian dermatologist 35 years or older
  • Does not provide benefit to patients by virtue of a medical treatment (no R&D project)
  • The project may not be part of an ongoing (PhD) project, a larger project or already published work
  • Feasibility taking into account the resources provided : budget sheet has to prove the financial feasibility of the whole project. In case that the grant does not cover expenses of the whole project, a statement of the department head is for a matching funding of up to 50% of the project costs.
  • The salary of the dermatologists may not be funded by the grant
  • The applicant cannot apply for more than one prize given under the auspecies of the RBSDV in a calender year.
